Music/Songs

Achilles’ Heart is a variety band and proud of it! AH performs everything from Elvis to Taylor Swift to Tom Petty to Metallica. From songs like “Earth Angel” by the Penguins which was released in the 50s to “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone & Morgan Wallen which was released in 2024, Mike and Austin believe that every era is fair game because good music can come from any time, any place. They also think it’s fun to bounce around from genre to genre. Austin makes the setlists and seems to hate continuity. He’ll have them play “Chicken Fried” by Zac Brown Band, then Levitating” by Dua Lipa, then “Living Loving Maid” by Led Zeppelin. The AH guys have a lot of different influences and like to showcase to versatility they can put on through their abilities and use of good equipment. And they truly hope that their sets have a little something for everybody. People who love classic rock can enjoy music by the Cars like “Just What I Needed”, fans of 2000s pop can sing along to “Fireflies” by Owl City, and 90s souls can head bang to “Semlls Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana. Mike and Austin have performed over 275 different songs, and climbing as you're reading this. They enjoy playing a couple originals in a set too. Guitar Mike, whose music is released under Mike Ciarlante, has written some warm-hearted songs like “Hero” and some upbeat, playful songs like “Sign Here” and they’re all fun for the guys to play! Big Puppy, who releases music as Austin Ciarlante, has 7 albums out now and has performed songs from every album like “Backfire” from his first album, Force of Nature, and “Achilles Heart” from the latest album, When Only the Moon Rages. They’ll even do unreleased originals because they’re excited and impatient! They’ve been performing “Achilles Heart” (which was written by Austin in 2020 and then became a sweet band name) since late 2022 and the song wasn’t released until late 2024. Come witness the unpredictability that is Achilles’ Heart! Just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
